Hello! I’m Miranda Leon Guerrero, but most people know me as Ms. LG teacher, mom, and founder of LG Learning and The Shine Bright Era.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, my journey wasn’t always an easy one. As a teen, I struggled both academically and socially, navigating family challenges, self-doubt, and a constant feeling that I wasn’t enough. Everything changed when a few incredible educators saw potential in me that I couldn’t yet see in myself. Their belief sparked a fire that set me on a new path, one where I learned that confidence, resilience, and success are all skills that can be built.

After more than a decade in the classroom, I realized that what today’s teens need goes beyond grades. They need mentors who can help them believe in themselves, manage the pressures of school, and step into their power with confidence.

When I became a mom in 2024, my perspective shifted even more. I wanted to model a life filled with purpose, balance, and freedom, and show my daughter what it looks like to lead with courage and authenticity.

Now, through The Shine Bright Era, I help girls rediscover who they are, build unshakable self-belief, and develop the academic and life skills that allow them to shine, not just in school, but in every area of their lives.

Because when girls remember who they are, they stop dimming their light, and start leading the way.
